Drilling and Blasting
The owners of AWS have a combined 30+ years of experience in drilling and blasting various types of rock throughout New England and Colorado. With multiple drills we are able to efficiently blast any type of rock. We blast rock for various projects including: foundations, septic systems, waterlines, drives, boulder reduction work and hand drilling.

Aaron Wells
Aaron oversees all corporate operations and estimating. His guidance and experience ensures a high level of quality and safety throughout the company. Aaron has been working in the industry since 1990, working at Maine Drilling & Blasting for twenty-one years. He excelled very quickly, becoming a Blasting Superintendent within five years. He ran crews of up to 30 people and 12 drills, running several jobs consecutively. He then went on to work for Thomas Drilling and Blasting and PLC Construction, gaining additional experience on power lines.
Meet Our Team
Jeannie Benck
Jeannie spearheads finance and accounting on behalf of the company. In this capacity she oversees all facets of treasury, licensing, and insurance. Jeannie has had over twenty one years of tax and accounting experience. She started her career with Ernst & Young, LLP, one of the big four public accounting firms. Jeannie started her own accounting firm five years ago, which continues to thrive and grow.
